    This is my personal website, where I share my professional work and my writing. I respect your privacy and collect as little about you as I can. This page explains, in plain words, what is collected and why.

    Who I am

    This site is run by Bahauddin Bahar. You can reach me at bahauddinbahar87@gmail.com with any question about your information.

    What I collect

    • The contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), subject and message, so that I can reply to you.
    • Comments: if you comment on a post, your name, email address and comment, plus your IP address and browser details, which WordPress uses to filter spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.
    • Book orders: if you order a book by phone or bKash, the name, phone number and postal address you give me, used only to post your book.

    Cookies

    This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. The contact form sets one short-lived session cookie so that your message is sent correctly; it is deleted when you close your browser. If you comment, WordPress may offer to remember your name and email in a cookie on your own device for future comments.

    Content from other websites

    A few older posts include YouTube videos or images stored on Google’s Blogger servers. When you open those posts, your browser connects to YouTube or Google, which may collect information under their own privacy policies.

    How long I keep it

    I keep messages and comments for as long as they are useful for our conversation or the post they belong to. You can ask me at any time to delete them.

    Who I share it with

    I do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone. Messages arrive in my own email inbox, and the site is hosted by a web hosting company that stores the site’s data on my behalf.

    Your choices

    You can ask me to show you, correct or delete any information I hold about you. Just write to the email address above, and I will reply as soon as I can.

    Changes

    If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top of this page.
