Leaving Doesn’t Mean Abandoning
Leaving doesn’t mean let it go….
Not like fallen leaves scattered away,
In the dry, harsh winter winds.
It’s not forgetting existence,
But staying rooted in the soil,
With muddy hands, clothes, and drenched body.
From zero to a palace, brick by brick,
Each grain of sand echoes that voice,
Layer upon layer of collective achievements,
Where leadership is passion and a guiding light,
A lamp burning with the inspiration to move forward,
Lighting up thousands of brave souls.
Good or bad, right or wrong, success or failure,
Everything will measure on the scales of time,
Who will keep track? Who calculate?
The time, the effort, the guidance will be the judge.
We just say, whatever you gave us willingly or unwillingly,
If there was any lack in ability,
Remember this—
Your journey isn’t over yet.
It’s like let you go of the oar in the middle of the sea,
In weariness, in despair, with a heart full of sorrow and frustration.
If ever our paths cross again,
Smile softly and take our hand firmly,
We promise to return the favor a hundredfold—generously,
Whatever neglect or gaps went unnoticed,
We’ll make up for it in deeds,
And sail this broken boat ashore—with respect and love.
